Vacation in St. Andrews by the sea: Harris Hatch Suites
Formerly this unique and historic properly was known and operated as the Harris Hatch Inn. The main house is a two story brick house, constructed in 1840. The cozy and convenient garden suites are at ground level are tucked in behind the main house . The suites wrap-around cedar deck receives full sun, offers plenty of seating, and areas to relax. Shops, beach combing, whale watching, adventure activities and site seeing are just minutes away.
St. Andrews by-the-Sea was founded in 1783 and after the completion of the Algonquin Hotel in 1889, St. Andrews became Canadas first seaside resort community. It is world renown for its buildings, its notable summer residents, and its place in Canadian history. Many of the original buildings, including the Harris Hatch, have stood the test of time and are listed under the Canadian Registry of Historical Places.
Andrew and Karen Ludwig recently purchased the historic Harris Hatch in September 2012.
